Welcome to EduCart Consultant. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, as well as the education counselling and admission assistance services we provide. By using this website or engaging us, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, booking a consultation, or signing a service agreement with EduCart Consultant, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms in full.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of our website and refrain from engaging our services. Where you are acting on behalf of a student who is a minor, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and accept these Terms on their behalf.

3 Our Services
EduCart Consultant provides advisory and administrative support to students pursuing education in Canada. Depending on the package agreed, our services may include:
- Academic profile evaluation and career-fit counselling.
- College, university and program shortlisting based on your profile and goals.
- Application preparation, submission and follow-up with institutions.
- Guidance on documentation, statements of purpose and supporting files.
- General information regarding intakes, deadlines, scholarships and post-arrival planning.
The precise scope of services applicable to you will be set out in your individual service agreement, which prevails over any general description on this website.
4 No Guarantee of Outcome
This clause is fundamental to our relationship and you should read it carefully.
Our role is limited to guidance, preparation and administrative assistance. Fees paid to us are for professional services rendered and are not contingent upon a successful admission or visa outcome, except where expressly stated otherwise in a signed service agreement.
Any timelines, success indicators or estimates shared with you are based on general experience and are indicative only. They do not constitute a promise, warranty or contractual commitment.
5 Eligibility to Use Our Services
Our services are intended for individuals who are at least 16 years of age. Students below the age of majority in their jurisdiction must have a parent or legal guardian engage our services on their behalf and accept these Terms.
You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement and that all information you supply to us is true, current and complete.
6 Client Responsibilities
The quality and timeliness of our work depends significantly on your cooperation. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete and genuine information and documents.
- Submit requested documents within the timelines communicated to you.
- Disclose any prior visa refusals, immigration history, criminal record or medical condition relevant to your application.
- Inform us promptly of any change in your contact details, academic status or financial circumstances.
- Pay institutional application fees, tuition deposits and government fees directly to the relevant body, on time.
- Review all forms and applications before final submission, as the information ultimately belongs to you.
Delays, rejections or losses arising from incomplete, late or inaccurate information supplied by you are not the responsibility of EduCart Consultant.
7 Document Authenticity
You warrant that every document you submit to us — including academic transcripts, English test results, financial statements, identity documents and experience letters — is authentic, unaltered and lawfully obtained.
8 Fees & Payment
- Service fees are communicated in writing before engagement and confirmed in your service agreement or invoice.
- Our fees cover professional consultancy only. They are separate from institutional application fees, tuition deposits, language test fees, medical examination costs, biometrics and government charges.
- Applicable taxes are charged as required under Canadian law.
- Payments must be made only to the official accounts or payment channels notified by us in writing.
- Currency conversion charges, bank transfer fees and gateway charges are borne by the client.
9 Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refund eligibility depends on the stage at which services are cancelled:
- Before work commences — where no counselling session has been delivered and no application has been initiated, fees may be refunded after deducting reasonable administrative charges.
- After work commences — once profile evaluation, shortlisting or application preparation has begun, fees are calculated on a pro-rata basis for services already rendered.
- After application submission — consultancy fees are generally non-refundable, as the professional service has been fully performed.
- Third-party fees — amounts paid to institutions or government bodies are governed by their own refund policies and are outside our control.
- Misrepresentation — no refund is payable where services are terminated due to fraudulent or false information.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@educartconsultant.ca. Approved refunds are processed within 30 business days through the original payment method.
Where your signed service agreement contains specific refund terms, those terms prevail over this general clause.
10 Third-Party Institutions & Decisions
EduCart Consultant acts as an independent education consultancy. We are not an agent of, nor do we control, any college, university, testing body or government department.
Admission criteria, tuition fees, course availability, intake dates, scholarship terms and visa requirements are determined solely by those third parties and may change without notice. We are not liable for any change, delay, rejection, course cancellation or policy revision made by an institution or authority.
11 Communication & Consent
By providing your contact details, you consent to receive communication from us by email, telephone, SMS and WhatsApp regarding your enquiry, application status and related service updates.
You may withdraw consent for promotional messages at any time by using the unsubscribe link or by writing to us. Service-related and transactional communications will continue while your file remains active.
We may retain records of communications for quality, training and compliance purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.
15 Suspension & Termination
Either party may terminate the engagement by providing written notice. We may suspend or terminate services immediately, without refund, where:
- False, forged or misleading documents or statements are discovered.
- Agreed fees remain unpaid after due reminders.
- A client behaves abusively toward our staff or acts unlawfully.
- A client fails to respond or cooperate for a prolonged period, rendering the file inactive.
Upon termination, clauses relating to fees, liability, intellectual property and governing law continue to apply.
16 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
The parties agree to attempt, in good faith, to resolve any dispute through direct discussion before commencing formal proceedings. Where a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
17 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, business practices or legal requirements. The revised version will be published on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.
